Mills for cold rolling of gears through rolls (ХПШР) have been designed for production of gears and splined shafts which are used in automobile constructions, agricultural machine-building and in other branches of industry, e.g., pinions of window raisers.

During production of gears and splined shafts by means of cold periodic rolling metal consumption decreases almost 3 times, productivity increases and labour consumption decreases compared with milling. Blanks are steel cold drawn rods.
